Between living in a cold climate with dry indoor heating and the ubiquitous dryness that seems to automatically come to skin and hair in cold weather, winter hairstyles for women can become dull and lifeless if not cared for properly. Another issue for many women in the winter is the static electricity caused by certain fabrics when rubbed against our hair. This leads to unsightly fly-away hair. Invest in a high quality leave-in conditioner and use as needed to neutralize the static electricity. There are many leave-in conditioners on the market right now, but they all have the same basic instructions. Simply spray the product on clean, towel dried hair and comb through with even strokes.
