Okay, but it’s a singing competition, is hair all that important?
“I absolutely do think that hair can help or hurt,” says Patton. “People enjoy seeing something familiar, and hair can help create likability in a performer, which can turn into a vote.”

While Patton is overall happy with all the looks she’s created this season, she is most proud of the work she did for Matt Giraud (remember him?).
